Spring Break Ideas

Spring-break-ideas

Spring Break is steadily approaching, and with all the pressure to make it the time of your life and what-not, figuring out just how to spend this vacation can be a daunting task. Here are some of our best suggestions!

Hit the Beach!

If you have seen the epic movie Spring Breakers, starring the gorgeous Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, you know exactly how much fun a vacation by the beach can be! Minus all the theatrics and dangerous activities, that is. Pack up your beach essentials, a sexy designer bikini, pair it with a bright kaftan like the one by Sauvage Swimwear pictured above and hit up one of the hottest sandy destinations near you with your best friends it will be the trip of a lifetime! All you have to do is tan, sleep, party and repeat. Could this be paradise? We cannot wait to visit Cancun, Mexico, and Panama City Beach, Florida, to soak up all the sunlight that these glorious places have to offer. We highly recommend that you check out Puerto Vallarta, Daytona Beach, Acapulco and Nassau as well!

Road Trip

If the beach is not your thing, it doesn't mean that you can۪t break out of the grind and have yourself a change of atmosphere. Load up the boot with munchies, compile a fun driving playlist and hit the road with your girlfriends for a memorable weekend or week, depending on how much time you have. And what is the destination, you ask? Wherever the road and your heart take you! Enjoy starlit barbeques and some fresh air in the country side while you catch up with each other. If solitude is what you are craving, skip the company and go on your own. We guarantee that you will cherish this peaceful break when life gets busy again.

Volunteer

We all want to change the world, but few of us can actually gather the courage to go out and do it. Spring break is one of the best times to give yourself to a good cause and have some fun while doing your bit to make the world a better place. There are a host of organizations which you can work with, depending on your area of interest. It is also a great way to meet like-minded ladies and make new friends! If you want to combine work and play, why not travel to a completely new place to volunteer? There are a bunch of organizations which arrange international volunteer experiences, so you can learn about a new culture and do well for society at the same time! What۪s not to love?

Finish Things

We are all guilty of starting something (or many things, in our case!) and leaving it unfinished. Whether it is a book, a movie, a to-do list, a craft project or a much needed closet clean up, Spring break is the best time to wind up all your pending tasks and activities so that you can start afresh afterward. We totally recommend indulging in some therapeutic spring cleaning as well, to make some room for your new wardrobe in the new season. You can get rid of all your junk without chucking it in the bin by throwing a massive yard sale, participating in a clothing exchange or giving it to charity. Let bygones be bygones!
