If you thought the Coachella fever was over, think again! Weekend two was out-of-this-world-amazing. Here۪s why:
Pharrell Williams set the stage on fire yet again, surprising the crowd with even more mind blowing collaborations. First up was T.I. who rapped his way through Blurred Lines, followed by Clipse who had that crowd jumping with Grindin۪. Next up was our favorite R&B man and one of the hottest men in the industry Usher who had the ladies swooning with a jaw dropping rendition of U Don۪t Have To Call. Of course, Pharrell had to save the best for last and what better showstopper than the musical powerhouse Jay Z? Mr. Carter had the crowd grooving with Frontin۪, Excuse Me Miss, La La La and I Just Wanna Love U. We just wanna love you too, Jay!
Up and coming EDM superstar, Martin Garrix, made his Coachella debut with some of his hit singles, including the electric Animals. He even tantalized the crowd with a few unreleased tracks! The energy that flowed through the crowd during his set was unreal. We are pretty sure that there wasn۪t a single person who wasn۪t raging with their hands in the air! Can you believe that Martin is only 17?!
America۪s sweetheart, Lana Del Rey, wooed the crowd at Coachella with her stunning looks and her effortless music. Clad in a brightly colored floral dress, she belted out our favorite tunes including Blue Jeans and Video Games. She even stepped down into the crowd to take selfies with her love struck fans! Can you tell that we have a teeny tiny girl crush on her?
Winding up a monumental festival is certainly a lot of pressure, but the feisty Arcade Fire didn۪t let us down. We were totally feeling their good ol۪ indie-rock vibe. They trolled the infamous Daft Punk duo by bringing on two people in suits and facemasks, rechristened as Paft Dunk. A snail slow version of their chart-topper Get Lucky, played in the background and the crowd went ballistic!
We couldn۪t think of a better way to end the show. 2015 couldn۪t come soon enough!
