How To Get Rid of Cellulite

What is the world's shortest horror story? Cellulite. Before you shrug it off, you should know that this unsightly dimpling of skin can happen to women of all ages just ask Mischa Barton or Lauren Conrad, both of whom are in perfect shape with bikini bodies to die for.

In a nutshell, cellulite forms when the large pockets of body fat beneath your skin begin to push upward, creating those unsightly bumps that look like cottage cheese.
Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for getting rid of this healthy problem. Trust me when I say that all of those cellulite-removal devices and medications do nothing but burn a (gigantic!) hole in your pocket. The trick to bidding cellulite adieu is to focus on your fitness, diet and overall health.

A balanced diet is absolutely critical in your battle against cellulite. Ensure that you load up on precious proteins which are found in fish, lean meat and nuts. Maximizing your intake of lean proteins will make you feel fuller for longer, thereby reducing the amount of unhealthy calories that you consume. Protein also helps to build your muscles which lend a smoother appearance to the cellulite-affected areas. When the post-lunch munchies kick in, reach for fruit instead of the usual packet of crisps. Ladies, make sure to load up on plenty of H20 which will strengthen your skin and encourage your body to start shedding excess fat, thereby reducing the dimpled look.

The other part of the parcel is exercise. Without this, you cannot get rid of cellulite. Cardio is one of the most elements of your workout routine and even more so when it comes to banishing cellulite forever. Whether you choose to go for morning runs or long weekend cycle expeditions, make cardio a regular part of your exercise routine. Lifting weights is also a great way to reduce the appearance of the dimples because your skin will smoothen out as your muscles become stronger. Now, whilst we definitely do not advocate an unreasonable consumption of caffeine, ground coffee is a great way to reduce the appearance of cellulite. The caffeine content in your go-to morning beverage tightens the skin and loads it up with antioxidants to make it healthier. All you need is one cup of ground coffee beans, six tablespoons of coconut oil, three tablespoons of granulated sugar and an empty jar to store it in. Mix all the ingredients well and apply the scrub liberally to your skin, massaging it in circular motions as you do so. For the best results, indulge in this scrub at least twice a week. The cherry on top? It smells absolutely divine!

You are welcome!
