People will tell you a lot of things and it can be difficult to filter out what is true from what is not. As our daily work revolves around swimwear and as we feel it is our job to help you make the best swimwear decision you can, we have decided to bust these five nonsensical swimwear myths. White Swimsuits Are Transparent
This is definitely one of the more ridiculous myths going around and it is our duty to set the facts straight. Most white swimsuits, especially the designer swimsuits ones sold at Swimwear World, boast of a full inner lining. This thick nude lining will block any transparency, thus ensuring that you are super comfortable, both in and out of the water. Add some playful texture to the mix for even more security.
Stick With Your Clothing Size
No, no, no! When shopping for sexy swimwear, you must remember that many swimwear brands tend to run smaller in size when compared to the standard international sizing chart. Only Black Can Make You Look Slimmer
Girl, this ain۪t true! Whilst we are hardcore black loyalists, there are a host of other colors which can have a slimming effect, including navy blue, deep purple, bottle green and brown. Grey works wonders as well as it often looks better than black on ladies with blonde or grey hair. If you prefer prints, keep an eye out for vertical and diagonal stripes which are reminiscent of the naughty nautical trend these prints will make your torso appear to be narrower than it is. Small Busted Babes Need Padding
Definitely not! Whilst extra padding is definitely one of the easiest ways to make your chest appear larger than it is, there are a host of other tricks as well. Look for embellished bikini tops which come with ruffles, bows, frills, bold prints, sequins and whatever else suits your fancy! These interesting elements create the illusion of volume on your upper half. The key to rocking your designer swimwear is to be comfortable in your own skin. Plus, as a small busted babe, you can rock risqu̩ styles like deep V-necks and bustier tops which many ladies cannot.
Big Bust = One Piece
Whoever said that ladies with large chests should stick to one pieces was so, so wrong! Big-busted women can wear any style under the sun! Look for tops with an underwire and wide adjustable straps (preferably halter neck ties which make your shoulders look slimmer) to provide your twins with the extra support they need. Keep an eye out for structure pieces with full or molded cups. Remember that double stitching is always a bonus! Model your swimwear around the brassiere in which you are most comfortable.
