In 2006 Kim Wormgoor launched her first Kymare collection.
Kim Wormgoor, 1st of June 1979, graduated from the Academy of Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Her career began with her first swimwear collection, which she entered into the international fashion competition “The Mittelmoda Fashion Awards” in Grado Italy, where she won the 2003 award for swimwear. After winning this prestigious award, Kim was approached by Hunkemöller to design an exclusive swimwear collection for the boutique chain to be sold throughout the summer of 2005. This collection was sold successfully in Hunkemöller boutiques in The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, and France.
The Kymare collections are been received with enthusiasm worldwide and featured in important fashion magazines such as the American Vogue. The collections can be described as avant-garde, exclusive, refined, and modern with distinctive details. Besides the swimwear collection, Kymare has added easy chic and stylish tops, dresses, leggings, shorts and accessories to the collections for a complete summer look. Kymare is sold in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, USA and Canada.
